Stripes are Condor's new look!

Germany's most popular leisure budget airline will unveil its new brand identity in spring 2022: Condor represents vacation and vacation means stripes. Condor now wears stripes in five different colors inspired by parasols bath towels and beach chairs. The five colors are Sunshine Passion Sea Island and Beach. These colors are not only found on holidays around the world but they also represent the fact that the world cannot be defined by a single color. As a result their "Fleet" is anticipating a new design that is visibly striped and colorful in Sunshine (yellow) Passion (red) Sea (blue) Island (green) and Beach (beige). This clearly demonstrates the evolution of a leisure airline into a distinct and unmistakable vacation brand.

The new design was unveiled alongside the first A330neo which flew for Condor in the fall of 2022. Condor will soon fly 18 A330neo long-haul planes. The latest-generation 2-liter aircraft is the European front-runner with 2.1 liters per passenger per 100 kilometers and maximum customer comfort thanks to cutting-edge technology and maximum efficiency. Furthermore starting in 2024 Condor will receive 41 brand-new A32Xneo short- and medium-haul aircraft.

41 New Aircraft—Short and Medium Haul Fleet

The Condor Supervisory Board has decided to order a total of 41 A32Xneo aircraft. The agreement includes 13 Airbus A320neo and 28 Airbus A321neo aircraft. Additional purchase rights will gradually replace Condor's existing short- and medium-haul fleet (Airbus A320/1 and Boeing 757). The new short- and medium-haul fleet will set new standards with up to 20% less fuel consumption and carbon emissions and up to 50% less aircraft noise. The aircraft will be delivered in spring 2024 immediately following the successful rollover of the entire long-haul fleet. Condor will replace its Boeing 767 long-haul aircraft with brand-new Airbus A330neos beginning in autumn 2022. Condor consistently focuses on state-of-the-art technology maximum efficiency and the highest customer comfort with the 2-liter aircraft on long-haul routes and highly modern short- and medium-haul aircraft of the A32Xneo family and as a result will have one of Europe's greenest fleets.

Condor's fleet includes Airbus A320-200 A321-200 Boeing 757-300 767-300ER and A330neo aircraft.

16 new Airbus A330neo planes provide comfortable and environmentally friendly long-distance travel. They are the most silent machines in their class generating 20% less CO2 throughout the routes they service. The A330neo's new design includes a full new room for Business Class and large seats in Economy Class.

The In-Flight Experience

A new service on Condor flights allows passengers to reserve personal overhead bins in advance. Condor Economy Class passengers on certain flights now have the option of reserving their own overhead compartments. This guarantees sufficient storage space for the hand baggage included in the booked fare starting at 9.99 euros. Initially the service will be available on long-haul flights operated by a Condor A330-200. This will be effective beginning November 1 2022.

"Many travelers are familiar with this situation: you are sitting at the gate boarding begins and you wonder whether your hand luggage will still find a place in the overhead compartment" says Ralf Teckentrup CEO of Condor. Condor passengers can now unwind by simply reserving their own baggage compartment online in advance - ideally in conjunction with a seat. This makes flying even more enjoyable.

Reservations can be made up to 48 hours in advance at www.condor.com under "My Booking" and up to three hours in advance at online check-in. Each passenger can reserve one baggage compartment.

Refreshments

Condor airlines serve meals influenced by global flavors on board their flights. The “Taste the World” menu features hot foods snacks and drinks from several countries. Taste the World has three menu options: standard premium and gourmet. Their availability as part of the purchased ticket is determined by the flight class and itinerary.

Passengers in Economy Best Class receive a free snack and drink or juice on short- and medium-haul flights lasting more than 2 hours. In turn Business Class passengers - one of the Taste the World menu items. Long-haul trips on the other hand include a hot lunch a cold snack and soft drinks in the ticket price. These are meals from the Standard Menu in Economy Class Classic Premium Menu in Premium Economy Class and Classic Gourmet Menu in Business Class. For an extra cost meals from menus other than those provided to the class can be ordered. You can also order customized meals from vegetarian vegan or lactose-free menus.

Premium Entertainment is available to Business and Premium Economy Class guests at no additional cost. Economy Class passengers on the other hand have a limited selection of popular movies and TV shows to pick from but for a nominal cost they can access the entire Premium Entertainment service package.
